Who we are

Good remodeling starts long before demolition.

Most remodeling frustration comes from the same few places: a scope that was never fully written down, decisions made in a hurry on site, surprises behind the walls that nobody planned for, and not knowing who is responsible for what.

Boston KBA was set up to avoid those problems. We focus on a small number of project types, kitchens, bathrooms, ADUs and whole-home renovations, along with basements and additions, and we plan each one carefully before construction begins.

We work in Boston and nearby communities because remodeling here has its own challenges: older houses, condominium buildings, tight streets, historic districts and permitting that differs from town to town. Knowing those details is part of doing the work well.

What we believe

How we want every project to feel.

  • Clear before it starts

You should know what is included, what is not, what is still to be decided and how the schedule works before you sign anything.

  • Honest about cost

We will not give you a number that ignores your house. When something will cost more than expected, you will hear it early and with a reason.

  • Respectful of your home

Floors protected, dust controlled, work areas cleaned up at the end of the day and clear expectations about access and hours.

  • Careful where it counts

Waterproofing, structure, ventilation and the details hidden behind finishes are what decide whether a remodel lasts.

  • Easy to reach

One point of contact who knows your project, answers your questions and keeps decisions ahead of the work.
